Building for childhood

By developing affordable living environments where children are at the heart of everything.

Discover our plans

What if we reinvented housing so that every family could finally find their village?

LÜDIQ creates communities where children grow up surrounded by love, where parents find time for what really matters, and where neighbors become one big chosen family.

Discover LÜDIQ

Live, play and grow!

Imagine a place where children’s laughter echoes in large gardens and enchanting outdoor spaces, where parents gather for coffee while their little ones explore… Welcome to the first LÜDIQ in Trois-Rivières!

Our first family living environment will include 297 apartments designed for families, but above all developed to promote the well-being and development of children, while offering lively common areas and services that simplify life. Because when housing is no longer a concern, parents find time to play, laugh, and create memories with their children.

As an organization working to promote an ecological and solidarity-based culture, we recognize the LÜDIQ project as a bold and exemplary initiative that paves the way for more sustainable and inclusive development in Trois-Rivières. It is not just a matter of building housing, but of creating a collective living environment rooted in the social and environmental realities of the region, in line with the values we have been defending for more than a decade.

— Richard Grenier, President, Les Piliers Verts

We consider LÜDIQ to be a promising and influential group capable of having a real impact on Quebec’s housing ecosystem. Its approach incorporates best practices in the field while offering innovative solutions to the current crisis.

— Sébastien Parent-Durand, former CEO, ACHAT

LÜDIQ stands out for its commitment to providing families with accessible, sustainable, and caring living environments where child development and community life are top priorities. We see LÜDIQ as a practical response to the significant challenges faced by many families in our region, especially those with young children.

– Marc H. Plante Director of Development and Partnerships, Centraide Mauricie

In addition to being served by public transportation and close to essential services, the project fits directly into the overall vision of our housing policy, as it will improve the supply of affordable housing for Trois-Rivières families who are severely affected by the current housing affordability crisis.

– Marc-André Godin, Assistant Director, Planning and Sustainable Development, City of Trois-Rivières

The importance of this project cannot be underestimated. By providing affordable housing, this project allows families to have stability and avoid the stress of finding a suitable place to live. In addition, by promoting a supportive community environment, LÜDIQ strengthens social ties and creates an essential support network for families. The project reflects the values of our community and represents a major step forward in the affordable housing sector.

– Carolanne L’heureux, Director of Clinical Services, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Trois-Rivières

We see this initiative as a unique opportunity to create humane, inclusive, and safe environments where social diversity becomes an asset rather than a challenge. LÜDlQ’s vision, focused on intersectoral collaboration and social innovation, is a catalyst for change.

– Karine Cinq-Mars, Executive Director, Maison Coup de Pouce

The Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières (UQTR) is proud to express its enthusiastic support for the LÜDIQ project. This initiative is deeply rooted in the values of sustainable development, social diversity, and educational innovation, which the UQTR fully shares. The UQTR’s support will take the form of active involvement by certain members of the faculty.

– Mathieu Gingras, Adm.A., Assistant Director, Partnerships and Innovation Support, University of Quebec at Trois-Rivières

We believe that this project will benefit the community, as this type of housing plays an important role not only in health but also as a lever for local development, while promoting social participation. The effects on improving the quality of life of children and families can only be beneficial to the community as a whole. The LÜDIQ project is a practical and innovative response to the issues families are facing.

– Gilles Lafrenière, Executive Director, CDEC de Trois-Rivières
